Often coffee just tastes like coffee (and we love that!) but then there are coffees that are distinctly different. This lot is one of those coffees with its full and complex body, sparkling acidity and prominent berry and floral notes.
Kayu Coffee Factory was established in 1964 atop rich volcanic red soil. There are 1191 affiliate members who each have 1-2 hectare farms.
This coffee is fermented for 16-18 hours in cement tanks then dried on African beds for 13-14 days. The AA mark denotes the highest screen grade size for coffee beans.
