This coffee is produced by Yuki Minami who operates Fazenda Santo Antonio and Olhos D’Água. Depsite being a third-generation coffee producer, Yuki has invested in new processing techniques, raised beds, and post-harvest training -- representing a shift in coffee production in Brazil. In 2016 she co-founded Aequitas Coffee with neighboring third-generation Japanese-Brazilian farmers, creating a platform for transparency and specialty exports.
Our first experience with Yuki's coffee predates Favor's founding as Yuki's story continues to be one we champion. This lot presents a familiar and comforting profile in which we taste praline, hazelnut, milk chocolate and golden raisin.
