We welcome our first-ever offer from Vietnam: an origin that's rooted in historically commercial coffee production yet also home to exceptional experimental and innovative producers. Loc Rung is one such an organization that is guided by three principles: protect nature, support the community, and create delicious coffee. 

Led by Kate and Leo, this small organization is committed to strict ripe-only cherry picking to support sweetness, uniformity and clarity in the cup while reducing defects. Their work in fermentation and processing further develop expressive and unique profiles. 

This year, they produced an array of offers which included some experimental and truly wild co-fermented lots (lavender, lychee, grape, peach and melon). While those were a bit extreme for our menu, this carbonic maceration washed lot is the first step we're taking in exploring Loc Rung's work. This coffee is directional and unique with notes of pear, apricot, lulo, tangerine, and caramel.
